A nice hotel but does need some updating in the rooms. Restaurant / Bar was great!

Our room's AC apparently did not work because we had a big portable AC unit sitting next to the beda and attached to the window with a flex vent. The vent in the window was not sealed and we had to stuff a towel between the window and the plastic vent insert as heat, humidity and even bugs were coming in the opening. As we left we saw that our room window was the only one with this AC set up and upon leaving wondered why we were given this less than desirable room? Arrived on a Thursday night and the hotel was far from being booked, even Friday night there were plenty of rooms available. The unit was extremely loud but even as loud as it was, the noise from the outside bar patio was even louder. And being open until 2 am is totally unacceptable for folks just needing a quiet room for the night. The only upside was that the meal from the restaurant and our waitress were very good. Unfortunately, they are not enough for us to return.

Loved the setting.
