Electric , water and dump. Bathrooms barely adequate, dirty, wet floors, hard to use showers. Combination door lock which was changed mid stay to keep out the homeless.
Overall i would stay here again given the location and low price.

It rained all day so everything was wet and dirty including the bathroom floor-not their fault. No homeless encampment. Shower was awkward with on button across the room but water was warm on this cold day. Security on site all night.

A camper shot and injured an Anchorage police officer last night in the campground! City of Anchorage needs to put some serious effort into enforcing the rules and cleaning up the campground or the only people staying here will be vagrants and criminals! This should not be a city sponsored squatter encampment just to keep them out of the city proper. This makes two Anchorage campgrounds I’d never stay at again!

Last thing I saw they are closing this down to make into a homeless camp.

I LOVE this park! I've stayed 4 times during my summer in and around Alaska. Under new mgmt & staff is super friendly and helpful. They are clearing out the the riff-raff and have hired night security. Best part is that bears & moose are frequently seen here without an problems. They are currently trying to obtain funding to renovate the restrooms/showers. Highway traffic is unnoticeable at night and sites toward the middle or back of the park have no noise issues during the day.

This campground was recommended by the 2014 Milepost. The setting is nice except being next to a busy freeway. The local "residents" are friendly but make you uneasy. I was considering a second night until I went to take a shower:(

One of the poorest we have stayed on over 6 months of travel !Anchorage should be ashamed to have this as a city campground . Everything was dirty and out dated.

Camping spots are mostly back-ins. Electricity is $5 extra per day on top of $25 base fee. Showers have plenty of hot water, but otherwise bathroom and shower facilities are third-world quality. Place seems to be a residence of last resort for Anchorage's unemployed and low income types. A plus - good wifi included at no extra charge!
