Midnight Sun RV and Campground

Do not stay at this small,old,dirty,dusty,campground. The roads are narrow, full of chuckholes, with pine tree branches overhanging the road. This campground needs to clean up, grade the roads, cut down and trim pine trees. Because of tight turns and pine trees, this place is not good for a 36 foot or bigger RV.

Reviews from previous years bad but new owner so thought we would try it. More potholes than road, even in sites. Grass as high as camper door, junk laying in campsites and fire rings. Go up 40ft hill for laundry and showers. Person checking us in VERY rude. Better off dry camping. Drive by

Stayed here three nights July 2017
Pads are not leveled Many spaces not marked Facilities need updating sooner than later. Showers were cave-like (black concrete). Many picnic tables had a missing board.
Organization needs to be sorted out as on two nights others had parked in our assigned spot!
Worst was an overflowing garbage skip that was supposed to be picked up.
Bit of a concern as all you hear around Denali is how to keep bears away.
Would only give 2* rating.

Dirt unlevel sites. Not really good for the larger RV and 5th wheels. Trees close together makes it hard to maneuver in and out of spots. Trees also hang too low, had to do some tree trimming in order to get in our spot. Travel in 43ft 5th wheel. No place to park the truck once your in the site.
