We stayed one night, April 5, 2026. Easy, fast check in. We were on a grass site. Full hookup. I did not check out the bathhouse or restrooms as it was raining. Close to I 10. Not noisy tho. Lot of permanent residents. Park was clean, quiet. Our was almost level. We would stay here again.

Wilderness RV Park is part of our RPI membership, so we paid $10 per night, plus another $3 per night for 50 amp. We stayed seven nights. Check-in was fast and easy with Jerry. He and his wife Shirley were very friendly and invited us to the 5pm potluck one night, and the danish/coffee breakfast the next morning. We did go to the potluck and met some very nice people, most of them are full-time stationary in this park. We were in site F8. It was level, mostly gravel, and long enough for our 42' fifth wheel and one ton dually. All sites are pull-thrus. There's a lot of trees at this place, but unlike some other reviews, we didn't find them to be a problem. The roads are manageable and if you're careful and slow, you should fit just fine. Neighbors are close, but not any closer than most other RV parks. The roads in and around the park are good. There's a lot of junk around the dumpster that needs to be cleaned up (chair, sofa, old furniture). No one enforces the rules about having only one car per site. There's a lot of "stuff" around some of the permanent resident's sites. There are some rundown campers, one with the floor completely falling out. Apparently the gate is locked at night at 10pm or 1030pm but you are given the code at check-in. We were never out that late so I'm not sure if it all worked as it should've. We didn't see a dog park, but there's plenty of safe roads inside the park to walk your pets. Each site has a small picnic table, no fire ring, and wifi was slow. There is a nice pool, but the weather was still a little cold for us to want to get in. It is quiet at this park. I never saw one child at this park in the week we were there. I don't know if it's an over 55 only park or not. We also never saw any wildlife like deer, squirrels, fox, etc in this park. We thought that was odd. We usually see wildlife at every campground or RV park we go to unless they're super busy with activity or near a busy road. We never heard a train or any road noise. This place is back in the boonies. There is a laundry room but it is super super tiny. We decided to do our laundry in town where there were more machines and more room. The RV park was okay, and we would stay here again in a pinch. The reason for the 3 stars is because they've allowed it to get kinda junked up. Some people do not take pride in their sites, and no one is enforcing people to keep their spaces nice and neat. You will find a Buc-ee's very close. Diesel is about $1.00 cheaper there than any of the other area gas stations. Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, etc aren't terribly far away and worth the drive. It's a really beautiful area. Not far off I10, a couple sharp turns but doable with 35ft classA pulling a Jeep Used Passport America so only paid $22 night. It was worth that. Road in a little bumpy . Site B9 level with view of pond. Gravel road and hard dirt site.Lots of full time residents there. Pool not open laundry $2.25 wash and $2 dry. 2bars T Moble . Neighbors had loud dogs with barked anytime we went outside

We were only there for one night. Called on the day we needed to stay. They were super helpful and friendly on the phone. We checked in after hours. They left a site map (A16) with our location taped on the door at the clubhouse. We were right across from the restrooms and showers. The facilities were very clean. We would definitely return again. Great place to stop off the highway.

Stayed one night in our 34 ft 5th wheel. PA rate for 30amp $17.50
Great for one night. Roads had pot holes and could benefit from upgrading.

Quiet, rather rustic, very pretty park. Roads too tight for a big rig; the trees scrape on the sides. Friendly folks. If we had a smaller RV we would stay again. Ours is 43 feet.

Nice and quiet. Our site was not level. Residents got the best ones.
