Very nice, full service campground with RV & tent sites as well as cabins. There’s an pool, arcade, shower & laundry, and a stocked fishing pond, along with a playground. The onsite store is well stocked.
The sites are pretty close together. Each has a picnic table and a fire ring, bringing me to the first drawback. The gorgeous setting along the creek, nestled among the trees, is a valley. At meal time the air was so thick with campfire smoke I wanted a respirator.
The other drawback was road noise. Quiet enough inside my RV, but light sleepers in a tent might struggle.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, as were the other campers. Labor Day weekend when I visited saw the park nearly full, with lots of families, small kids and pets. The location is just a few minutes from the base of Pike’s Peak, numerous hiking trails, Garden of the Gods, and Walmart and restaurants etc. I paid about $75/night for an electric & water site, and used their dump station on the way out. Overall a very good experience despite the smoke and road noise.

The place seems OK, but, it’s pretty expensive! It should have at least 4 $$$$ signs. Also a lot of highway noise!

Lone Duck Or Odd Duck? If you get one of the very few good sites you will like the place. Had site 47. A good one. Many sites are small and helter shelter. Friendly office staff. Great base for visiting Pikes Peak

We stayed 2 nights, and we really loved this campground. The staff was fantastic. The only reason(s) for not giving 5 stars is the noise from the road. It is also looks pretty tough to get in to several of the spots (our was not one of the difficult ones thankfully). Otherwise, the pool is very nice, we caught several rainbow trout from the pond, and cooked them for dinner, and they have an awesome arcade that’s open all night. The campground is in a low spot in the valley, so it was much less windy than otherwise would have been, so we could leave the awning out. Prices are high to stay, but you get your money’s worth, especially if you have kids with you. Wifi signal was very good at Lone Duck…best at any campsite we’ve been to.

Stayed two nights - very small RV Park. Not really pet friendly as there is no place to walk a dog.
Tight spaces. Very loud road noise.

Great place, friendly staff and very clean. They served a pancake breakfast for $5.00 that was very good.

Pros:
Nice pool, playground, stream beside camp spots, pond with fence to protect the kiddos from falling in. Camp staff was not particularly welcoming when checking in but that's no big deal.
Cons:
The noise... it's situated beside the road and you hear significant road noise. If I was in a tent or a pop up it would be pretty tough to sleep.

There is nothing wrong at all but road too close. If you have tent and looking for quiet place you have to maybe look somewhere else. But other way this place is nice and clean and has beautiful view.

We camped out in a tent with my family of four. We truly love this place and the owners are wonderfully pleasant and nice! Great place!
We will be back here a lot over the years!
