Now with over 90 sites. Major improvements. Paved walkway throughout the park and along the Rio Grand River. Highly recommend!

What a gem of a park. We were in a riverfront site, which made all the difference. Quiet, nice views. Unfortunately the.cottonwoods were shedding their “cottonâ€, people were wearing masks to keep it at bay. Good hookups, level sites with good spacing. Nice places to walk dogs. Recommend this place for a nice visit.

Due to RV fridge failure, we found ourselves having to scramble to rearrange our travel route. We booked a river front site here last minute for a Friday night, totally based on Allstays reviews. Wow! What a beautiful campground - we sure wish we could stay longer. Amazing river front site. Lots of upgrades happening - looks like they are expanding the campground and adding more sites. Our kitties give this place “2 paws upâ€

Splendid place! Paid a bit more and got a space on the river. Sweet! Saw two deer crossing the river a few hours ago. Good fishing (get a license). Have been here before and will come again. Easy online reservation & great staff.

We LOVE this place! We found it on the ALLSTAYS app and are so glad we did! The staff is absolutely wonderful and the park is quiet and the walking trail is awesome. We were lucky enough to get a site on the Rio Grande River and spent all our time outside enjoying views. And, the temperature is awesome (it’s the end of July) and we can spend our time outside. Haven’t turned our AC on any! And if you like painting rocks, you’ll find lots of hidden treasures here!

Woods and River RV Park is one of the quietest parks I’ve stayed at. The new owner has worked hard at cleaning the park up plus adding new facilities. The staff works diligently providing great customer service. We’ll stay again!

Many improvements: New showers, and laundry, many new sites. Get a river front site - probably the nicest site we've ever stayed in.

Pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The road to the park is a dirt road by the railroad tracks (not used) but after entering the park, meeting Linda, who escorted us to our site, making sure we were happy, wee glad we did not let the road to the park turn us away. We have a front row seat on the Rio Grande River , roomy and level site, fire ring and picnic table! I give this park five stars, we used passport America discount, got water and electric and a front row seat to the Rio Grande River.....fishing, swimming.

We were pleasantly surprised with this park. As we drove in on a dirt unkept road paralleling train tracks we are worried. This park is right on the river, that you can fish and swim in. We used our Passport America discount and paid $24.00 full hookups,! It is quiet, mature trees, picnic tables, enough room for slides and awnings. Very friendly staff. There are places that are a tight fit, just ask for another one.. they are very accommodating. They have gazebos for anyone’s use along the river, and a larger one for larger groups, maybe a family reunion. We would stay again if in the area. I gave them 3stars rating because the grounds are in need of manicuring. WiFi doesn’t work by the river, must be by the office. Verizon cell service works great.

Not sure this was the same campground these other folks stayed at! We agree that the office staff was friendly, but as for the park itself, I'd keep on driving.
The sites are extremely tight, with rigs parked every which way, so that our doorside slide was only a couple of feet from our neighbor's. The sites went from back to back to front to front, and they are very, very narrow. There is a large dry camping area near the river, but they charge $22/nt for that, when we got the Passport America discount of $16. for full hookups. Still can't figure out as a PAm member who'd want to pay $6. more for no services?
We camped in a 27' motorhome with slides.
We would not recommend this place simply for the small, irregular sites.
