4J+1+1 RV Park

One of my favorite campgrounds. Location is great, just a few minutes walk to downtown Ouray. The grounds are keep up well, and the bathrooms are great! The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The riverside sites are very close to each other, but sitting behind your rig, right on the river, you can forget there's a campground behind you. Bathrooms are clean. Town is walkable, and the Uncompahgre River, even in Fall, is quite picturesque. Our reservations, even with no email confirmation, were honored perfectly. The water hookup was under grade and a little difficult to access. We stayed in October in a campervan and we would stay again.

The only negative is the sites are very close. Otherwise, a great location and good campground. Bathhouse is clean and nice. You can walk to everywhere in town, and it is a great little mountain town. You can also walk to the trails in the mountains that circle the town. If you are up for some exercise hike the Oprah Perimeter Trail.

This is an excellent campground surrounded by awesome scenery . The campground is very clean and well maintained . Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. We plan on definitely returning to this campground as often we can. It has become our go to campground .

July 2022: loved this campground. The location is ideal to walk to downtown. Quiet park, very clean, and nice clean shower houses. We loved this campground, and town of Ouray, the most of our 6 campground while traveling through Colorado. We would love to come back to this campground and the beautiful little active city of Ouray.

This park is on the outskirts of town, an easy walk to Main Street. Bathrooms are very clean and the showers were clean and hot. Perimeter trail has an access point at the park. There is a playground and a creek runs beside the park. We loved it here, the views were amazing!

We found this place to be clean and quiet. We have 24 ft van and the sites were plenty wide. Afternoon shade made it comfortable and enjoyable.

They have remodeled this park and its way too tight. Won't be coming back.

We very much love this park and have been here a number of times. The location is excellent for exploring Ouray as it is situated near downtown. We have had varying sites from very roomy to a bit cramped. This time we have a large site nearer the West end mobile homes. The park is clean and well maintained. Workers were friendly on the phone and in person. The only downside, as others have described, is there is not really a good place to take pets. The road behind the park is dirt, narrow, and very busy so it is rather a chore to walk the dog there. Overall a minor downside in an otherwise wonderful little park.

Because I loved Ouray and this park is central in Ouray, I loved the park. The people were friendly, the showers were extraordinary. I can't speak to the laundry as I didn't just it. There things keep me from 5 stars. Number one is that they are not really let friendly. There is no realistically good place one is allowed to walk the dog. They ask you to walk them in the far side of the street where there is no room. The WI-FI is horrible even though we were just 3 spaces from the office. The space was significantly cramped. No room to put out awning and the neighbors slide out allowed them to see directly into our bedroom if without shades.
