KOA Campground Cartersville

Sadly the website says it's Closed permanently. Very sad. We liked to stay here.

Very clean and quiet. Just far enough off the interstate to not hear it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some full timers but all nice rigs. Good pool. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and just right for a one night stop over. Hosts lead you to site- mostly level gravel pull through sites. It’s a “Journey” KOA so right off hwy- made for driving in and out on your way down the road!

Very nice and welcoming owners. The sites are gravel, but clean and most are level or mostly level. The bathhouse and grounds were clean and the pool so so refreshing after a long day traveling. Great cable and wifi. Far enough off interstate I did bot hear road noise, with several fuel and fastfood iptions close. I will stop here again.

For a stopover KOA, this place isn't bad. If it were a destination KOA, it'd rate 3 stars instead of 4. Wifi is speedy and the cable channels are very good. Hookups are well-placed and in good condition. The sites themselves could use some work (not very level) and the store isn't well-stocked, and also there's a fair amount of road noise if you're in the front of the park. Pet area is quite large and well-stocked with bags.

It's nice to have wifi and cable television on occassion and this KOA provided us with both. The restrooms were the cleanest I seen at a campground since Disneyworld, which was a long time ago. Our site was not level and the boards under the front tires didn't work real well but we stayed here anyway. Owners were very nice and it was a quiet evening even though the campground was full.

Lovely place, but sites are not level. We had to move and so did an RV that pulled in right after us. We were told that the owners are being told to bring in more gravel; we hope they listen!

Campground very clean and location is perfect as a stop over for trips to or from Florida. Owners could not be more helpful. Sites are level and spacious. Recommend very highly.

Under new management, the current owners are super! The site we were in was level and plenty big enough for our 35' fiver. The site and grounds were clean. We did not use the bath house. The staff/owners were very helpful and courteous in every respect. We stayed in a fifth wheel and would stay here again.
