Clean laundry area, very nice people, well maintained, easy level site. Exactly what we needed. Ok there was a lot of flys for some reason, but our kitten was very entertained by them.

One of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at. There is even a catch & release fishing pond. Very nice!

Everything was great except for the primitive camp area is all around the dog’s park….so the smell and the flies were just not something we enjoyed. 👎

We stayed @ site 58, FHU, Pull through, 50amp, 7/15 -7/16. Site was large, nice spacing, level. RV door facing east so no hot afternoon sun. Nice dog parks, side by side fenced in about 100' square. Campground about 2 miles from I-80, 18 miles from Winterset, IA, John Waynes birthplace, also Bridges of Madison County are close. Large store, great selection, pool, playground, quiet. Could stay a couple days.

One of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at! Well maintained and roomy, with two dog parks, fishing pond, swimming pool and play area for kids. Nicely graveled and our site 16 was long, level, wide and shaded by a large tree. Office stayed open until 9 pm and check in was friendly, fast and efficient. Local in a rural area, quiet with easy access from I 80. This was our second visit to this KOA and we look forward to staying there again when we come to visit friends in the Des Moines area.

Easy and helpful reservations and check-in. Easy access from I-80. Clean park with nice amenities. Level sites with good hook ups. Two, clean, good sized, fenced dog parks and a big playground for the kids. Noticed they have a large inside meeting space for groups. We ordered their pizza for dinner and it was tasty. They have other choices including ice cream and there is a small store with cold drinks, etc.

One of the nicest and cleanest KOAs we have been to and we have been camping over 30 years. We received a text message hours before we showed up asking if there was anything they could do to make our arrival any easier for us. They make pizza on site and offered to have it ready for us. The sites are gravel and spacious everything was clean. It looked like a fun time for kids. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was great.

One of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at - very nicely spaced sites, very helpful and friendly staff, new bathrooms with the biggest showers we have ever seen on the road. They are taking good care of the packed gravel roads, it rained the whole time we were there and there were no standing puddles. The double back sites were just one row down the middle of the grounds, otherwise they were the usual singles.

No Washing machine were working due a collapse of the Leech Field with no ETA on fixing so plan accordingly. The closest laundry mat is 20 min drive away. We had a ton of Laudry to do and I wish they would have told us so we could have planned to get it done before we arrived. Not good customer service as far as I am concerned. KOA has always had a great business model but they need to be honest with there arriving customers. No onsite laundry is big deal to some and KOA integrity is on the line here, They lost ground with me on this one

While checking in an employee said power company said power was fluctuating so don’t plug in. Very friendly staff and clean campground. But this night dry camping at $55 no discount. Even if no power issue: Sites have grass at side, but no visual barriers anywhere and the gravel for site and campground roads seem like limestone so shoes get white residue that tracks in the RV. We had to run generator all night. Not taking a chance here again.
