Glendale Campground, Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Convenient and well maintained with a few over night sites. This is our second year to stop here. Nice little lake and swimming pool. Staff is helpful. It is primarily year rounders. Our 35’ motorhome pulls a car and made the turns, but some are tight.

No, not for large RV 40 5R coul barely make the turn out of site. Forget the dump station! Majority is full timers. Don’t stop . Will not be back

Nice little campground with a lake to fish in. The sites were gravel, level and easy to get in and out of and long enough that I didn't have to unhook. A nice quiet place to spend the night. we were met at the office and escorted to our site due to COVID19 restrictions. I stayed in a 30 foot TT. I would stay here again.

OK for an overnite. Quick get on and off Interstate. Very friendly folks. Website claims no long term, but it looked like several permanent trailers. They lead you thru the winding road to your site. The path is very narrow in places especially for a 42’ class A. Didn’t use it, but the swimming pool looked very clean an inviting.

We arrived just before 6 pm, the mgmt/owner was very nice, polite, and accommodating for just an overnight stay. The site was level and afforded us a nice view of the little lake. The showers/restrooms, and laundry room, are clean and well maintained. It's close to I65, sign directions were good and led us right to the campground. We heard some traffic noise, not much. Gas station located near the highway. We were able to watch the sunset, as well as the sunrise over the rolling hills. This little campground was great for the night, and possibly a few days if your visiting family/friends or just visiting the Louisville area. If they have room for us on our travels south or back to Ohio, and we need to stop, we will be back! Thank you

Perfect place to stop for the night. Direction signs made it very easy to find. Barely off the highway, but it is in the woods. Our lot was perfectly level, so all we had to do was put down the stabilizer jacks and plug in the electric. Truck stop nearby so easy to fuel up in the morning and then hit the road.

Very nice, clean campground. Owners are accommodating and present on site. We are here for a week long RV safety and education class in Elizabethtown. Campground is a short distance from conference center. Best and largest sites are water and electric but there are some full hookups. Would have given five stars if these sites were full hookups. Also, nice pool and fishing pond! Very quiet.
