Sunday Lake Campground

This campground is in a city park on a beautiful lake. The campground is across the lake from the highway, so there is some highway noise but not too bad. There are a variety of sites from rustic to full hookups, grass to gravel to cement pads. Our lakefront gravel/grass site had water and electricity and was $25 for one night, not bad for the area. Most campsites slope down toward the lake, but they are long enough that it should be possible to find a location that’s nearly level. The sites are close together, so I think the campground would feel very crowded on a summer weekend. There are many seasonal campers. Firewood is available for purchase, and the WiFi signal is strong, and (in the offseason) very fast. The park appears well-maintained. We would certainly stay here again.
