Stayed here on a whim while touring the north shore. Sites are a bit small (you might end up sharing a picnic table with your neighbor). Also, they boast lake access but it's really a city beach about a quarter mile away. Bathrooms had just a single shower and were so/so for cleanliness. Randy (I assume the owner) was very friendly. Given the shortage of good options between Duluth and gooseberry / split rock, this is an OK place to hang for a day or two.
