This review will be somewhat limited as sadly, this Park will be closing at the end of the 2017 season. We had a nice 3 night stay in an electric/water only site. The park was completely full and our reservation was made only four days in advance, so we were happy to get in at all. There is a small swimming pool and a sand lot for the kids. As earlier reviewer mentioned all playground equipment has been removed.
If you want to stay near the Twin Cities or see Stillwater or Hudson this is a very good place to stay. No wifi but it was quiet and peaceful, and was big rig friendly.

I waited a bit before writing this review. I wanted to make sure I was not making a knee jerk reaction to my experience with the owners of this campground. When we arrived we were very please that we were met by a friendly staff and the facility appeared very neat and clean. Somehow I did not make our reservations correctly when I viewed their website and looked at the site map. They did not have an reservation of our family's two night stay. My fault completely. However, the hostess said that they had space and it would not be a problem. We made a payment for two nights, one night for 6 people, my husband and I, plus my daughter, husband, and two little girls. My husband and I were staying the second night so that my daughter's family could spend a full day in the campground with us before they had to head home in the late afternoon. Here is where we ran into a snag. We did not know the campground was at a stage of closing down. They had sold all of their playground equipment and other things in the campground. There was just one big sand pit for the girls to play in and the weather was too cold to swim. My daughter decided it was not worth staying for the day and asked that we checkout with them at the 11:00 checkout time. When I went in to the office to let them know our plans, I spoke to the owner about the missing playground equipment that showed on their site map on the website. I did ask about a possible refund. The owner told me it didn't matter that the map showed the playground and they would not refund us for the second night. When I said ok but that they should remove their map from the website, the woman started telling me how they should not even be open and that even walls were missing etc....that is when woman's daughter came from behind a curtain and started screaming at me. I turned around and walked out and she just got louder and louder as I walked down the sidewalk and into my RV yelling how she shouldn't even be there that she should be in Florida etc. Obviously these people are under too much stress and cannot maintain a business like attitude. I am glad for their sake they are closing.
