Nicely kept campground with large level sites. The bathroom near us was unusual - one large room with one small toilet. We did not see the showers in another building. Dump station was good. We only stayed overnight so did not explore the parks, but it seemed like the lake had activities. Nice to be in a good campground so close to Kansas City. One star removed only for the awkward bathroom.

Very nice RV Park. I’ve stayed here twice this month. Great location, if you’re traveling through K.C. Quiet and beautiful setting. Very organized. Neat, clean, level campsites with lots of room. Bathroom/showerhouse clean, roomy. I camped in a tent, using electric box. Very reasonable rate.

This is a very nice campground. Friendly attendants at check in. Gated campground with access code. Spacious camping areas. We had full hook ups. Nice amenity for a county campground. Clean and well run. Laundry facility was nice. Can even pay washer and dryer with an online app. Little leveling needed for our site. Concrete pads at some sites. Lake nearby. We will definitely return. We have a 28’ motor home.

Stayed Friday and Saturday 8/10/18 and 8/11/18. First trip in our new 5th wheel. Site 13. Site was level and full hookup. We have a 41' trailer - easy to maneuver in the circle. Property was well maintained - several hiking trails - about 1/2 mile to the lake (via a trail - or drive to the swimming beach). If staying in KC to visit the city - this is about 20 minutes from downtown. We were just trying out our new rig. Did not go in the showers - but the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hosts did let us drive around on a sunday about two weeks before so we could pick a site. 50 amp service, water pressure were good. Kids enjoyed the playground. $33/night for full hookup. I'd stay again I suppose - we likely wont just because it's so close to the house.

GPS or Google maps will take you there. It's a lovely wooded park with rolling hills and well-tended grounds. Most sites are spaced well enough to allow privacy. We've stayed there several times and will do so again.
