Glendive RV Park and Campground

The park appears to be closed.

Drove through the park looking for a suitable site for our 40’ MH and decided not to stay. Echo the previous reviews, give it two stars instead of one; it would be okay to stay if there were nothing else. Gravel roads, gravel/dirt sites, dry prairie grass between sites that is not mowed, some trees for a bit of shade. Most sites were short, turns were tight, some overhanging branches - place was obviously laid out when 25’ trailers were the norm.

We laughed at ourselves for staying here. Probably the ugliest park ever and not the cheapest either. But the location is very convenient to 94.

Very disappointed the park has not been kept up. High weeds uncut green areas. Trees need to be trimmed. Low branches. Internet not working

Very disappointing for price. Low hanging branches scraped my roof and had to go up on roof and brake off branches so they wouldn’t do any damage. Poorly mowed, no view of river, A lot of short pull through sites

Sites are level, full hook ups and bathroom/showers. There were 2 toilets and two showers for 18 sites. Showers are dirty with moldy shower curtains. Water sort of spits at you but relatively hot. Women's restrooms not locked so not very safe feeling. Individual toilets and shower rooms lock. Seems expensive at $40/night. Essentially it is the space behind the hotel. Not very scenic but safe place to park for the night.

Full hookups, most are drive through. Register at The Astoria Hotel right in front of the campground. Host at front desk in hotel very accommodating and helpful. It's quite plain and near the freeway but it's clean and just what we need while on the road. You're not in a recreational area here but the state park through town looks very interesting and is not far away. State park does not have electric/water hookups and we don't have a generator. If you are moving through the area and need a safe, clean spot for the night, stay here. It's $39 + tax for the night.
