Stayed in site 2 with truck camper and kayaks for 1 week leaving on August 20, 2025. Site gravel uneven with picnic table. Inner site with view of ocean if site 3 didn't have a big rig. The sites with electricity rather close together. Sites in woods without power separated by trees and more private. WIFI in building with bathroom and clean showers. Weak MIFI with T-mobile. Spectrum using Bell 1 bar to no reception. Rocky beach no boat access here and stairs very steep. Had to go to Berry Hill campground to get drinkable without boiling water. Visitor center very nice and little shore side towns fun to visit.

This is a beautiful park right on the water, most sites have at least a view of the water and some are along the shore. Large sites, excellent washrooms and showers. Wifi available in a “common” room in the building that houses the washrooms/showers. It’s a nice room with picnic tables if you need to get out of the rain. There is even a wood stove in the room for cooler days. Highly recommend.

Why would you camp anywhere else? We stayed at Trout River, very far off the beaten path! We had Site 7 at Green Point, right on the Gulf of St Lawrence, and next to a stream, so lots of natural sounds to cut out any man made noise! Sites 6 and 7 are both amazing! 7 was large, not too far from the facilities, next to the Coastal trail! I can’t say enough good things about it!
