I see a review from a couple of years ago with my name. Don’t know if it was mine but sounds like me. This time we stopped for the hookups. Showers and dump and water are what we need. This is a run down park. I did not like that when they told me the price on the phone it ended up being more than $5 more. For tax he said. Where in the USA do they charge 15% tax? The guy did not know why it was so much. He had only been there a few days. The town itself is pretty run down. Busiest place seems to be McDonald’s.

Checked in with a young man who obviously didn’t care, the place has about 50% long term campers, the sites are extremely close together, it’s very close to the highway, so the noise is constant. Our biggest complaint is that the water spigot is so close to the sewer dump that we didn’t trust it was clean. We chose not to hook up our water and just used what we had carried instead of risking contaminated water. We definitely won’t go back.

Do not trust google maps to get here. It is actually right off the highway. Was perfect for our purpose of taking showers and dumping and getting water.

Run by an Archie Bunker type guys. Kinda gruff. Probably built around 1960, restrooms updated 1980. Gravel lots rather randomly and tightly placed. About half of the 25 were long terms. No Dump on ours. Planes, trains, and Semis all night. The GOOD NEWS, WIFI and Cable were excellent. Probably will skip one next time, even at $20. Says he also owns Bar S across the highway.

It’s a stopover stay only. The gentleman at the counter was super nice. Very small and very tight. We have a small travel trailer (21ft) so it was fine for us. I was a little taken back that the water hookup was at ground level right BESIDE THE SEWER hookup. :( Maybe 2” apart. That just grossed me out. However, it was cheap and filled the bill for a quick night stay.

This place might be ok if you are in a small camper no larger than 25 feet, if there was no place else to stay . They are right on a street, very tiny . I called several days ago to be sure they could accommodate us and they assured me could. So here we days later , pull in and it is so small we have to in hook our tow just to get out, had to back out. I was furious ! It says on their info that they can take up to 65 feet , this is joke ! Not laughing. So we went across the street to this awesome KOA. Thank goodness.

Pleasant stay. Our own private restrooms - warm and clean. Visited with owner in the morning over coffee. He owns Bar S Campground also. Works hard to keep them clean. Only $19.00 plus tax for overnight. McD just up the road. Nothing fancy - but we slept well and awoke refreshed.

Enjoyed our stay, and so pleased we stayed extra days. Easy hwy access. Although the spaces were narrow we welcomed having the wind blocked in this very cold windy week. The private restrooms were spacious, warm and clean with great showers. Small Laundry area with large machines at bargain price. Best of all was the owners were warm, friendly and helpful. We vote Blue Spruce an oldie but goody.

Noisy and rough. We had a flat tire the next morning. No sleep. Won't be back.

Wonderful little gem. I always stay for a night here on the road. A bit noisy what with the traffic and trains. But if you do not mind that the owners are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are single but beautifully maintained, they are more like going into your own home. Sites are level with trees, good wifi, and electric. No clubhouse but a small laundry. Very clean. A few stay for the summer season so reserve spaces ahead of time. Rates cannot be beat.
