There are two roadside parks on TX-118 between Alpine and Terlingua. This is the easier to navigate for an RV, especially a big rig. More space, wider turns, fewer trees. #2 has tight which is NW of #1 could be different for an RV. There are a few pullouts along the road that could suffice for a short stop.
