Destiny RV Resorts-Dallas

I called to inquire about a daily rate, but was told they only take monthly campers now.

This is my 3rd stay. The staff could not be nicer. Our site is more than adequate. We travel in a motorhome with a tow vehicle. This park has an RV wash pit which is quite rare. It is best, clean and easy to navigate. I would give it a 5 Star if it had cable TV service as the lovely trees interfered with my satellite reception. Also, though not horrible, the road noise from I-35E does come through occasionally. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful sites, lots of trees so good shade. The sites are a little close but didn't feel crowded at all! The staff is friendly and very helpful and that with a night security guard makes this a great location. Close enough to activities but still in the burbs. Yes it's near the freeway but honestly didn't notice the noise at night. Would stay here again if passing this way.

This park is one that has great potential. That being said it is a real dump. The spaces are so close that units do get very close to touching. People can be seen doing drugs in the open. People have junk (old refrigerators, beer kegs, etc) under the units. Internet is non existent. property is in very poor condition. I stayed here in a fifth wheel. I would never stay here again. There is a walmart nearby that would be a better place than here.

Run down amenities. Rude staff.

This park deserves a 5 star rating but the reason I give it only 3 is because of their pet policy; or better the inconsistent pet policy.

Gong to their website it says "pets welcome" w/o any qualifier.
when I stayed here early April I mentioned, making the reservation by phone, that I had a 4 month old German Shepherd Puppy. No problem during this stay. When I returned 2 weeks later the morning after I checked in, I went to the office to book a specific site for my 3rd reservation early May, that I was no longer welcome because of the breed of my dog - German Shepherd. This surprised me as I had mentioned it making my 2 earlier reservations and no problems were made. I also mentioned hat I had seen much larger dogs in the Resort but they told me it was breed specific. My problem is that this is NOT mentioned on their website and again not mentioned when I made the reservation.
Overall the staff is very, very friendly and helpful and the Resort is very nice & clean.
