Stayed in front of the community center for a night. The donation box is there, suggested $5. There was another RV, felt reasonably safe. Drive down the stree to see Mexico right there!

March 2019 Stayed at the community center parking lot, a short distance from the Judge Roy Bean Museum. The lot was quiet and level with lots of room, suggested donation of $5 to a Dropbox to support the community center. The free Judge Roy Bean Museum and garden was worth a visit and also housed a full scale Texas tourism center with all the information you could ask for, staffed with knowledgeable people. Picked up some Big Bend info. WiFi available at the museum. No Verizon cell in the parking lot.

Nice overnight parking (dry) at the community center. The requested donation is $5 and they provide a drop box. It was just us in our motorhome with a toad and one other camper who came in late. Easy in and out with plenty of room. It is an interesting place. Be sure to allow time for the visitor center.
