We stayed one night recently after reading other very positive reviews while heading to Mt. Rushmore. They were right on and this park is a gem! It is fairly small right inside the town but it is quiet other than an occasional train some distance off. What makes this park so special is the owner Linda. She was out from the office to greet us before we even came to a stop. Showed us the sites and said to pick which ever one we would like. All are level, clean packed gravel, tidy power and water stations, grass space with a table. Very well kept grounds. There is a nice city park just across the street with great play ground equipment. The wash rooms are small but spotless with over the top art and little humorous touches all thanks to her. The same for little interesting yard art and flower touches around the park. Again, lt is Linda who made our stop so incredible with giving us a great map heading to Mt. Rushmore and marked points of interest and highways, a nice city map indicating points of interest in Lusk while we went for an exercise walk, plus several other little special touches. She made lt a point to let us know several times if we needed anything or had questions, she was available as she lives just next door. What a commitment to customer service. She even went out of her way to copy something for me I found in some reading material she had hung in the men's stall!! When we were about ready to leave the next morning, she came out to say good by and wish us safe travels. We wound up getting and giving hugs as she is so incredibly nice and gracious. This is the first time I have ever written a review and it had to be special to do so. And we have been to many RV parks. You won't be disappointed!
