Riverbend Campground

Called to make reservation and was told just show up. Arrived to a poorly maintained road and pulled in to find office. Found office that looked like it had been bombed with a pickup with all 4 tires having been shot out partially blocking the road. No indication of where the office was. Got around the truck and saw some people further into the park. Asked th where the office was and was told that it was in a house “over there”. Drove toward the house then stopped at an apparent site. Electrical 30 amp box was half destroyed with bare wires hanging out of it. Shortly afforestation this a motorcycle “gang” arrived at the shot up pickup. Meanwhile a golf cart appeared from the “office” and the driver wanted to know what I was doing there. I told him I had called and was looking to stay, but was concerned about the shotup pickup. At that point he told me I could leave. I did and would not recommend anyone stop here. The place is an absolute dump either very questionable management and permanent residents.
