This was a great find for sure. It was a quiet area to spend some time relaxing. It has a grassy and shaded picnic area and playground and yes, you can shower for free here (donations always appreciated).

I put 5 stars because it is great for what it is. It's a parking lot under the trees next to a shaded picnic area at the fair grounds with water and electric hookups. $6 a night makes it very affordable. There are only 2 sites where you might be able to get satellite tv and they were full when we arrived this time. There is no sewer nor dump station but we rarely stay more than 3/4 nights so not an issue. Sometimes there are riders in the rodeo stadium, others enjoying a picnic lunch etc but we have never had an issue with our rig or equipment. Showers available.
