It looks like a great place to camp and fish but we stopped by yesterday, no signs to point you in the right direction but we found it. Unfortunately it is now posted with No camping and No Trespassing signs! The signs are located at the bottom of the stone road before you get to the beach area.

Good place to boondock. You likely won't be alone. It's fairly busy, as there are a number of ATV trails in the adjacent woods. Very popular for families.
No facilities, and no host. Gets busy on holiday weekends. There is room for approximately 50 (or more) rigs here.
Good fishing in the river.
