Cross Timbers State Park

We LOVE State Parks! Cross Timbers is no exception! Large beautiful shady sites along a reservoir edge. We stayed at site #224. There was a little sign that said PRIME. It really is- at the end, level, concrete, super private.We watched a flock of white pelicans the 2 nights we were there.We did notice some of the concrete sites were pretty sloped. This loop was water/ elec only. There is another loop nearby with FHU. The dump was a ways from the loop but good access. Minimal Verizon, I’d say. None, mostly. Even the cute little town of Toronto didn’t have good signal. It really is a great park, well maintained.
