I stayed here for about 3 months over winter. I liked it. Nice people, good rates. I rode my E-bike all over the area on just about every track and trail and never found chicken farms but there were a few cattle places. Note for bicycle riders anywhere in this area. LOTS of goats heads stickers. Unless you have puncture proof/resistant tires or stick strictly to pavement, you WILL get flats.

Nov. 2019. We came in after the office was closed (around 8pm) and we picked a site from a chalkboard showing available sites. We have a onboard surge protector in our 5th wheel that won't allow power through if faulty, and after setting up and plugging in we spent the night without power because of a bad power supply. The next morning I checked the power on the vacant sites on both sides and they were also faulty. We finally moved to different site that morning. Then a smell started to drift across the park which was coming from an adjacent chicken farm. We planned on staying a week but the smell of the chicken farm and the flies were becoming unbearable, so we moved on. The staff was great and I'm sure at one time (prior to the chicken farm) the ratings would be much higher.

Stayed here one night after driving from Puerto Peñasco MX. Tried to go to BLM land but was unable to find the entrance and traffic made it unsafe. We then decided to stay one night here, self check in was easy. We had no problem with hook ups and a camp host came by and greeted us. There was a slight smell but it was short lived, not overwhelming at all. If you need a place to stay while traveling through this place fits the bill. The park itself is clean, and spots are wide.

We were traveling through after boondocking at Quartzsite AZ. We took a chance on this park for an overnighter only. Upon arrival it looked really nice so we took a chance and paid for two nights. I had read the reviews regarding the smell from the chicken farm. There was a slight odor depending on the wind but really not bad at all. The park is all paved with beautiful Palm trees lining all interior roads. The laundry is excellent and the shower facilities are good but not great. Excellent high speed internet in the large spacious recreation rooms. When all was said and done we bought two additional nights for a total of four nights. Oh, by the way after my Escapees discount it was $27 a night.

September stop over, had read reviews and it sounded nice. The sites for overniters are at the far end of the huge park across from the thousands of chickens at the chicken farms. We pulled into our site hooked up and as soon as our air came on we’ll still all power. I have an EMS and it showed low power so we moved. I checked 3 other sites with my meter and they were all bad. Finally found a good one and stayed the night. I spoke to a staffer and found out they’ve been having electrical issues for quite some time and don’t plan to fix it because it’s the oldest part of the park and across from the chickens, the smell and the flies are worse in this section. We were lucky it was raining and a slight breeze kept the smell and flies at a minimum. Sorry to say we won’t be back, at $32 per night with poor power, no cable and fee for service WiFi it’s better to travel on.

Came here for a two night stop over between places. We had gotten a recommendation from an online blogger. The facility is pretty good, our site was not that level, as we had to put a board under one side of our RV. The hookups were ok, no problems. We found this to be a HUGE park, as you have to walk quite a distance from one area to the other. Short timers are in one side of the park, longer term stays in another, which makes a lot of sense. The laundry room was in good shape and clean. Prices were ok.

We are not sure if we will stay here again for two reasons, the place is huge, and it is FAR outside of town. We needed to go to Camping World to return some items, and that was about a 40 minute drive, one way, to Avondale. We should have checked this out better when booking.

Sunsets were NICE!

Have stayed twice at this park. Friendly staff. Friendly people in the park. The sites are large & less crowded than most. It is a bit remote which is a plus for us. West wind brings in a bad Oder but it is tolerable. We like this park.

Very well maintained park with cement slab patios. Pool, pickleball, shuffleboard, exercise room, etc. Apparently there is a chicken farm upwind of here. I believe this has caused a reduced number of reservations. There was a chicken manure smell in the air at times and some of the long term residents complain of respiratory problems. The place was sparsely populated, but perfect for a few nights recovery time after a week of dry camping.

Stopped for an overnight stay. The place smells bad. We were greeted but not given a form with the bathroom code so we couldn't use the restrooms. Extremely large well-maintained park not too close to the main road. Overall, would not stay there again.

Nice clean park with friendly hosts and just wide enough lanes. Laundry room sparkled and was in good order, so it was kind of worth the $4 a load cost to wash/dry, but a tad pricey nonetheless.
