'This is a great location. Easy walk to all places we wanted to go in Calistoga, and a short drive to some excellent vineyards/ wineries in the Russian River and Alexandria Valley area of Napa County. Very quiet at night. We paid $25 total for a large, shady full hook up spot with Passport America.

No grass at all - all gravel parking lot. Nicest sites are the premium ones that are larger and well shaded with a bit more room. Other sites are very tight but the park was pretty empty while we were there. We opted not to use the bathroom or the showers, they just didn’t look appealing to either of us. Electric boxes were pretty beat up and water pressure was low. Best points about this place is the location in Napa Valley and the Passport America discount.

We stayed here for a week in December 2018. We found the staff to be friendly. The bathroom is certainly dated but it is clean and has abundant hot water. The sites are close together with limited trees, but the location far outweighs any concerns about the ambience of the park. We found the park quiet with no party animals coming in for the weekend, there were no security issues. Not sure if this changes at the high tourist season. The park is located in a nice residential district next to the fairgrounds and a golf course. The services are excellent and the wifi works very well. It is a little pricey but we used Passport America to reduce the costs. Calistoga is a little known, great little town at the north end of the Napa Valley and a great setting for wine tasting and restaurants. There is also a $1.00 on demand shuttle service. We stayed here in our 30 ft fifth wheel.

Echo what others have said, this is really just a large parking lot and the best reason to stay is the location, an easy ten minute walk to downtown Calistoga. The bathroom was basic but perfectly clean with hand soap and paper towels provided. Hookups worked well. This is a good landing place to explore Napa but the campground itself is definitely not where I would spend my time.

This is a city/county operated RV park that primarily services Fairgrounds and Speedway events. It is not an RV resort or even a stand alone RV park. With that understanding you should adjust your expectations. The grounds are minimally maintained (and by volunteers when available), the amenities are limited but they will suffice.

The best, and maybe only, reason to go to this park is to visit Calistoga. You will be a short 15 minute walk from this wonderful and quaint Nor Cal mountain town. Great restaurant and lots of things to see and do. Ask about the Calistoga shuttle which will pick you up at the park and take you anywhere in town for $1, each way.

No long term stays allowed (14 day max). Prices are $37-$42 for 30A + Water and $50-$55 for 50A + Water + sewer.

Staff is friendly. Available between 10a - 4p. Reserve online or by phone. There are usually spots available for walk-ins. After hours just fill out the provided envelope, slip through the office door and find a vacant spot by referencing the list on the office wall.

If you are planning to go wine tasting this is the best and only RV park in the area. The next closest RV park is Bothe State Park which has limited space, no hookups and no big rigs.

Very tight for large rigs (small interior roads and trees). Premium sites have full hook-ups and trees, balance of park is in full sun. Sites very close together and noise from outside TVs and loud conversations was annoying but not any other options in the area. Great location visiting Calistoga wineries and staying out of the crazy traffic down valley.

5-10 minute walk to town is the best feature of this campsite. Plenty of connections such as bus and uber to vineyards.

Very noisy (industrial from surrounding development in addition to music) and has more of a permanent/longterm resident feeling rather than a holiday park. No codes for bathrooms and toilets - facilities very basic and slightly dirty/run down.

Probably wouldn't go again

Nice parking spot; very reasonable. Dump available, but need code. Office hours limited (10-4) but can get code from golf pro shop. Quiet. Very close to downtown Calistoga. Would stay again.

Sites are tight and the residential roads can be noisy, but overall a good place. If you golf, the course is 75 yards away. Good value, and great restaurants within a mile.

2nd time we have stayed, and will continue to return.
