So, even though we didn’t need sewer we stayed on the $20 “west†side as it was noticeably nicer than the east side. Totally worth it. Level pull in. The east side has overflowing trash, loud music. It’s like two different cities.

We’re staying here overnight on a long trek down I-40, and I’m impressed! I called the city to check on price and availability, and the campground host called me back pretty quickly and was helpful and friendly. She gave me good directions to the campground and told us our site number. She greeted us with a payment envelope as soon as pulled in. $20 for full hookups and $15 for water and electric. Great prices! The sites are spacious with grassy areas and some smaller shade trees. It’s been quiet and it’s clean. The park itself is HUGE, and things are really spread out, which is nice. The campground has plenty of space to be removed from day-users. All the paved areas are in good shape, and there’s a ton of open grassy areas, all of which look nicely maintained. It’s a fantastic place to stay with kids and a dog - lots of room to run and the water looks beautiful and inviting. There’s a big, cool looking playground within walking distance but we haven’t checked it out yet due to the extreme heat since we arrived this afternoon. Compared to an uninspiring RV park, this place is fabulous and a breath of fresh air. I’m already thinking it’d be a good spot to meet family for a longer stay.

Called to see how full they were. Incredibly friendly hosts insisted on giving us directions that were easy to follow and did not take us through the business district like GPS would have. Hosts said they couldn’t do a reservation but assured us we would have a spot that night. $20 covered full hookups in a peaceful park and much needed real showers for this dusty and tired crew making our way back home from a week of hiking and what not. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful campground and lake. My only complaint is that the spots are poorly marked for folks that arrive after dark. We could not find the designated tent area so ended up paying $20 for an RV site. A map of the sites would have been very helpful. Now that I have seen it in the daylight and know where everything is, I would definitely stay here again.

$20 for full hook up ($15 water/electric). Shade with small trees. Recovered from tornado last year. No concrete pads or WiFi. Nice walk around lake. Quiet. Well kept. Friendly hosts. Will visit again. Didn’t use bathhouse. Near interstate, Walmart and lots of fast food options.

$15 for water and electric. No dump station but we were lucky there was an empty site in the full hookup section we could use. Next time we’ll just stay over there. It was a little strange that there’s no map of the park, and we came to the east campground first so just set up there. West has the full hookups and is a short distance down the road. Lovely lake view, and had a quiet night after the kids who drove in to do donuts with their car left.

Convenient location, nice lake, good value, but check your site before settling down. Our $20 site #53 in the west campground did not have a sewer connection. A ragged trailer with a pit bull tied outside seemed a lot more permanent than the 15 day stay allowance. More oversight seems warranted.

Super Cute little park. Camp hosts were lovely and our kids and puppy enjoyed walking along the lake. El Reno is a clean and friendly little town and you can’t beat $20 for full hookup. Would definitely recommend for a nice overnight stay.

Ditto to all comments from previous reviewers. We visited in January 2019 and would like to try again in summer. Great location for those passing through on interstate. Very good price for full hook ups @ $15. Good antenna TV reception.

Older facilities, lots of hwy noise but can't beat $5 a night for tent camping.
