Great little overnight campground. Staff really understands the concept of customer service. A couple little things to mention; Sites are a little on the small side. No room to sit between campers as the neighbors are right on top of you. I could not have put out my awning. Bathrooms are very clean but dated. Need to get some updates done them. Loved the apple pie.

Very friendly people and nice size gravel sites. Even a nice trail to walk with information about the history of the lava. Dinner available, delivered to your door. Pizza was good.

Nice level gravel sites. Sites are not too close. Room for my 45’ 5th wheel. The staff have to be the friendliest staff of any campground I have stayed at. Very helpful.

What makes this park outstanding is the great hospitality of the ladies in the office. Super friendly, focused on making your stay as pleasant as possible. Extra amenities offered like free continental breakfast and home-cooked dinner (not free but very reasonable) delivered to your rig. Large, level gravel pull-through sites, neither exceptionally wide or narrow. A great place to stay.

Pulled in late after checking out the casinos, which did not look that inviting. Quiet and safe. Basic. Free coffee and donut in morning. Suzanne in the office was very informative about the local attractions. She told us about the tours up in Acoma Pueblo. Sounds really cool, but they are closed “for doings”, so disappointed. Instead we are going to the ice cave. Don’t drive by this area without checking it out.

For us in our 37’ motorhome towing it was an excellent stop for overnight. Very friendly people, clean gravel sites, good areas for walking our dog. We did not have to unhook our car, which was also great. We did not use any of their facilities such as showers and laundry so don’t know about those. We will definitely be stopping here again!

Friendly staff. Location was right off of I-40. Offered food for pm meal. Sites were gravel and level. W/E/S. Enough room for 30 Rv and toad. Laundry facilities were nice. Bathrooms were outdated. Showers were as small as a Rv. Couldn’t close curtain with out it touching me. So left open. Park had very little amenities. No pool. Which I would had liked.

I loved my stopover stay here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Super easy pull through spots. One of the team came to check on me to be sure I had everything I needed and that everything was to my liking. I enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by the owner and delivered to my spot. Took my dogs on a good trail walk on the property through a lava field. Close to El Malpas Conservation area and all the sites.

Easy pull through and well laid out hook ups. The staff was very friendly with the exception of a tall thin gentleman who didn't want to be there I guess?
