For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: Shameful! After 4 years of being closed for construction we were anxious to stay at Whistlers again. It used to have trees. Now it resembles a post nuclear fallout site. An absolutely muddy mess. Forget about walking your dog without being knee deep in mud. The sites are not even level(full hook up area). This is an embarrassment to Parks Canada.

For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: OK….its a great campground….wonderful ADA bathrooms…hot showers…deep sinks. However, its the only campground where I’ve had stuff stolen. 2 propane tanks….a dog house and a car mat. However, its the best place to stay close to Jasper. My advice is to take everything with you when you tour the town or go out to hike. Maybe they thought, I’d abandoned it…but it was a custom built dog shelter, riding platform.

For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: We reserved online 2 weeks in advance an electric site because there were no full hookup sites available. Beautiful campground surrounded by pine trees. No satellite due to the tree coverage. Our site was plenty big for our 38 foot 5th wheel. A fire ban is in effect so no campfires. We stayed 2 nights so sewer wasn't necessary. Nice big dump station that can serve 8 campers! At&t cell service was good. Verizon was fair to poor. No wifi in park. We'd stay here again.

For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: Private sites close to town and trails. Not every site has fire pit making bbq a problem due to bear proofing required.

For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: Nice peaceful campground. We saw a bear and elk in the campground. The electric-only site we had, we were only able to get for one night mid-week. Our site was not as clean as it could be. Campground is nicely laid out, giving decent privacy. We stayed in an RV trailer. In future we would make reservations ahead of time.

For Whistlers - Jasper National Park: Only 1 shower building for huge park. Older. Lots of crows making a lot of noise. $32.50 for AC site. Area fantastic and only campground still open this late 9-25-14.
