For Bow River - Bow Valley Provincial Park: Beautiful location with lots of trees and grand Vistas of the Rockies, but very close to the highway and constant traffic noise. Campsites are pretty private. No RV dump but water and power at site and showers available. Getting to the river requires pushing through underbrush. Seems to be a good base camp for local hikes though. Bear-Aware signs are everywhere as well as bear boxes, so keep your campsite bear safe. In late July 2022, not many mosquitoes.

For Bow River - Bow Valley Provincial Park: Campsites are close to the highway and you will hear the highway. Bears are frequent visitors so be sure to keep an immaculate campsite. Proximity to Canmore means the campground often fills by Thursday evenings during the summer.
