For Wetaskiwin Lions RV Campground: Wonderful, well run park just outside of town. The The bathroom and free hot showers were spotless and the laundry room - although there is just one washer and one dryer - was more than reasonable and spotless!! The sites are spacious, and most have trees for shade, a lovely pond and a playground. The lady who welcomed us was so friendly and helpful. We plan to make this park a regular stop on our way up to Alaska!

For Wetaskiwin Lions RV Campground: The Lions Campground is one of only two RV parks in Wetaskiwin. Both are approximately the same price and offer only 30 amp electrical service. We prefer the shaded country feel of this location and have stayed here a number of times in our 43ft Class-A w/toad, experiencing both their full service back-in and pull-thru sites. As they have a dump station and our stays are typically less than 5 days, the pull-thru sites with water and electric (30 amp) is preferred and a couple of bucks cheaper per night. Their full service are all back-ins. The sites are level and the facilities are aged but clean and the grounds are well maintained. As this park is closed during the winter there are only a small number of rigs parked here full time. A new operator has taken over the park but hopefully that will mean only positive changes are to come. A "seniors" discount is offered Mon-Thu though not other RV club discounts are available. We'll be staying here later this summer with our 7-year old granddaughter who will surely enjoy both their playground and the fishing pond.
