For Homer Spit Campground: We spent 3 nights at this CG. At least 60% of the sites look at the back of a large condo complex. There were small pieces of debris everywhere. When the awning next to us was extended fully, it was less than a foot from our trailer. Tight. The location at the end of the spit was the only redeeming value.

Regina
For Homer Spit Campground: The best spot to RV camp on the Spit. Stunning views, super clean bathrooms/showers/laundry and very friendly staff. Have stayed here often for almost 5 years and it’s our favorite spot.
PS: it’s quite unfair of the other reviewer to reduce the rating based on gravel because Hellooooo!....ALL of the RV parka on the Homer Spit are gravel!
It’s Alaska, head to LA if you demand pavement at every step. :)

NEAL GREGORY
For Homer Spit Campground: Best location on Spit. Close to everything. Lot of choice in campsites but get here early. It is quite popular. Best WiFi so far on the Kenai. Military Discount. Very close to fresh halibut and chips at the Food Bus. Easy walking to Salty Dog. Only a couple of blocks to lots of fish charters and other tours. Have stayed here all 3 of our trips to Homer and always enjoyed it!

WWolfe
For Homer Spit Campground: Tight packed rv sites, substandard gravel lot, dusty, non-functional WiFi, $50+ per nite, but it’s within walking distance of town and marina:).
