For Brookside Campground: I would have liked to give this park a better review. The mayor, Roger, was very nice and helped set us up on a nice looking site. After leveling our 35 foot 5th wheel, and putting out the slides and getting everything hooked up, my surge suppressor started shutting down because of low-voltage. It was 95 degrees outside. Three times my search suppressor shut off because of voltage as low as 105 volts. The mayor was very understanding and refunded us our $20 fee and wished us well. He did offer us the opportunity to try other spots, but as all spots available were all 30 amp, we decided to head further west.

For Brookside Campground: Great little campground for only $20 a night. Full hookups, playground, bike trials/greenway, and swimming in the river. Big enough for our 36ft MH + car in tow. The mayor met us at the gate and helped pick a site, then came back in the evening to check on us. Quiet little place that was perfect for a night or two. Didn't see a bathroom, but didn't look for it either.

Kedkap

For Brookside Campground: This a great little park. We have a big rig with a little careful driving we easily made it to the park. A quaint, quite little campground about 2 miles off highway 22. We were met by the mayor who also manages the campground. Great guy and was very helpful getting us into our site and recommending how to get out the next morning. Located on a beautiful river with a canoe and kayak livery close by. Wish we had time to stay and enjoy.

Chose this location because it was close to family. Plenty of trees in a stream nearby hiking trails it is situated on the back side of the community park. Full hookups for $20 a night. Hot showers available.it does have some large sites for big rigs biggest challenge will be maneuvering through town to get to the park. Well shaded campsites with plenty of trees. We will stay here again.

For Brookside Campground: This campground was the back of a ball field. We didn't see a bathhouse near by or an office. It might be nice, but we didn't stay.
