For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: We stayed one night just passing through in a narrow back in spot on the Mud River. Even though Halloween was still 20 days off the park was full of camp sites decorated elaborately with ghosts and goblins. Lots of families with kids everywhere. It was magical. Look forward to staying some time again, but probably not in October!

For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: Historical site, but very run down. Bath houses are disgusting. Historical signage needs updating. Friendly staff. Cheap enough with senior rate.

For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: For a 1 night stay it was not that great. The price was good, $27 for full hook ups. Sites were not level. The sewer connection was a good way away. I had to uses. Extension for my hose.

For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: Lots of activities, great grounds, lots to see. We went during spring break for about 8 surrounding counties and the grounds were very crowded. Kids, 14 and 12, had plenty to do and lots of friends. The park appears to have their own police force who were very kind and helpful. Supposedly even more crowded on Trade Days, which are once a month, March through November.

For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: Beautiful historic park with a lot of interesting things to see around the property. It was pretty full as people settle in a month in advance for a big Halloween event that draws 15,000 for trick-or-treating! Fun walking around and seeing all the decorations. The sites were very small, but since we were just overnighting, it wasn't a problem. Definitely geared toward young families. We were in a 25' TT.

Mike

For Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park: We stopped here overnight on our way to a longer destination. It was a nice pull through, full hookup site that required very lit to level our camper. The kids loved the playground and train. The bath house had plenty of showers and was very clean. I liked that the kids got a good history lesson about the iron works! Would stay here again if in the area.
