For Birmingham South RV Park: Easy to find from I-65, arrived after hours, Randy In golf cart took us to our pull through site, neeeded about 2†of leveling side to side, typical. Park is well kept with a number of full timers. Roads in need of repair, bathhouse was clean with separate shower rooms. 30 amp full hook up, site 47 washes pretty good during a heavy rain. Good Verizon signal 100 mbs bw. Lots of road noise ok during night , train track nearby and a fuel tank farm next door. We stayed 2 nights. Would stay again.

For Birmingham South RV Park: The staff at this campground lack compassion. We arrived at 12pm knowing that check in was at one. We simply had to leave our prior campground early and had no choice. All we asked to be allowed to park in the parking lot until 1pm check in. They refused although they have a large parking lot with enough space for 4 rvs. The two old ladies sent out a young girl that recommended we park at Home Depot up the street. We tried, but it was a small parking lot and we almost hit a car trying to get out. We have up and drove another 250 miles home. We cancelled that reservation and of course they charged us. We then called and cancelled two more reservations for which they are trying to charge a $25 cancellation fee. They are not a kind or caring staff as some have said . Don’t stay here and expect any kind of kindness or help. Ps the sites are small for overnight and your picknik table is right next to your neighbors sewer.

For Birmingham South RV Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Birmingham South RV Park. Getting to the campground is easy and all on good road. The roads in the campground are gravel and pavement, but have many potholes. Shakes the rv all over. Not good. The office was open and the lady's were friendly. The camp store has some basic RV needs. We were given a map showing us our campsite. Sites are half paved half gravel. Many are not level and some have large dips or ruts. All have picnic table, but no fire pit. The campground has about half that are seasonal. The bath house is very nice. The club house is nice and has a fuss ball table and ping pong. The pool was large and nice. The lounge chairs are hard plastic things that are very uncomfortable. No hot tub. The sites have cable and wifi. The cable is snowy and the wifi is week.
Some sites have more space from the neighbor than others. None of the sites are anything special. The roads and the site pads need to be fixed. This campground is good for one night only stays in my opinion.

For Birmingham South RV Park: Dated but clean facilities. Decent sites but interior roads are narrow with potholes. Would be okay just for overnight but too noisy to relax. Train whistles and sirens blaring constantly along with interstate noise and loud mufflers (this is the south). Was told at check in that I received an email with instructions about check in protocols due to Covid19 which I did not receive. I was not made to feel welcome but this may now be the norm for RVer’s trying to return to northern homes in the spring. Can’t believe I paid almost $50 for this.

For Birmingham South RV Park: I rated this park 3 stars based on other â€overnight†parks we have utilized. This was out second stay. Pros are staff is extremely nice and accommodating, nice little camp store with the basics and pull through sites so you don't have to unhook your toad. Cons are it's TIGHT and if the person parked in front of you doesn't pull their car up far enough you could be stuck. However, it's and â€in and out†park so people generally leave early. Some of the sites are hard to level. It is, however, about the only option in the Birmingham area so we will utilize again unless someone opens up another overnight option. Reasonably priced and give military discount.

For Birmingham South RV Park: Easy to get to off the interstate. Arrived after hours but my reservation was waiting for me at late check in and my site was blocked off for me. Level site and didn’t need to unhook for my one night stay. Clean. Nice bathhouse that was also being updated. Well stocked camp store. Nice and helpful employees. Small but fun game room, pool, and playground.
