For Pecan Grove RV Park: Arrived very late and perhaps this place is better in the daytime but I got 3 words to describe our stay on this hot August night, "mo-squi-tos"! 1000s of them. Tried to rush everyone into the rv and still got dozens if not 100 of them inside the rv. Spent an hour trying to kill them all. Not what we wanted to do before bed. What's better, tomorrow I have to look forward to killing the other 50 that flew into the truck as the family couldn't figure out what I was screaming.
I gave up on leveling the trailer, just connected the electric and ran inside.
Hopefully it's just the time of day/year and pecan trees don't attract mosquitoes. If I got to fight these bugs in the morning, forget this place!
Place is overall ok but swarming with mosquitos. Yes it is August and that probably can't be controlled easy, but that is what caused the downgrade.
Easy pull through level gravel pads with full hookups. Looks like plenty of stuff for kids to explore if you drown them in bug spray first.
Don't come late at night! That's when we got aniolated by the mosquitos & nats. Morning wasn't as bad bust still bad.
Cost was $32.17 for 50amp night with Good Sam

For Pecan Grove RV Park: Very nice place along 65 by Lake Village. Fairly big campground and only complaint was there are only two showers for women. Nice people and good Sam discount.

For Pecan Grove RV Park: This campground has improved since I last visited in 2013. The internet connection was excellent, bathhouse was clean, friendly staff, and beautiful pecan trees! I will definitely stay here again and recommend this campground to other rv'ers.
We stayed a week, all of the spaces are pull through and full hook up. Excellent prices too.

For Pecan Grove RV Park: I like this place quite a lot. It is close to the road by the lake but it gets quieter as it gets later. Peaceful setting among the pecan trees. Wireless for us is working great but we accept that as luck anymore. Even good wireless RV camps have their bad days. The restrooms and showers are convenient. The outsides are rustic. The insides are clean but there is a drainage issue for some showers (not the shower itself but the "supposed" dry area for dressing). There is some age on the facility but good staff and acceptable bath and toilet and location makes it a future pick. We are here one night - with a class B.

For Pecan Grove RV Park: Good overnight stop on US-65/82. Road noise not an issue.
Majority of sites satelite friendly, yet among old pecan trees.
WiFi was not reliable, though free with several towers for park-wide coverage. We could not maintain a connection.
