Helmut

For Springhill: Nice and quiet campground near the Arkansas River. Bathrooms need some TLC. Shower water was cold.

For Springhill: This Corps of Engineers Park is fairly nice. Bathhouses are showing their age, but kept somewhat clean. There is a lot of firewood you can scrounge. Sites are well spaced, but, people do not clean up after themselves, and the park staff doesn’t pick up the egg shells, dirty diaper s, cans and other trash left behind by the uncaring.

Gnys

For Springhill: nice clean campground with large sites along the water. Our loop had a great view and quite a few geese flying around for entertainment. Very peaceful setting.

rideusa

For Springhill: This campground has many scenic sites along a lake. There are two bathroom buildings side by side. One is more modern than the other with a handicap shower. Each site has a nice concrete pad, picnic table, electricity, water, and elevated table for cooking. The manager is very friendly and helpful.
