Small but clean and level and great price. We stayed to miss sand storm. Store staff were very friendly and cowboy camp host was adorable! only gave it a 4 because there is absolutely nothing around. No fast food or diners, just great park.

It is a very very windy day. I pulled in to adjust my mirrors. Instead of driving on, I decided to ask for a site. I’m pleased they had a spot so I can ride out this windstorm. The sites are level and clean. You can’t beat having a jerky store, showers, a food truck, and gas.

Nice stop over when traveling through for a night or two. Nice clean, level gravel sites with full hookups for $26. In January at least. It has a nice little store with jerky, dried fruits, nuts, treats, etc. and it has a food truck at lunchtime anyway so I had a taco and it was good. Highly recommend stopping here.

Perfect stop. Easy to drive in from the Interstate..top notch staff. Small well-laid out, level sites on gravel. Clean facilities ..reasonably priced laundry machines. All sites close to store and bathrooms . Train in the distance, but never a bother for us. A few small trees, but good sun exposure this time of the year. (Early November ). Definitely would stay here again. Cost:$22 for us.

We really liked this place. You wouldn’t know it from first glance but Jeff the owner, who bought out Dwayne several years ago has made significant improvements. Easy on/off from I-10, long, level FHU pull-thrus. Beautiful view of the mountains. Quiet location; distant noise from Highway did not bother us at all and neither did the trains. No whistles and even though we slept with bedroom windows open, we were not bothered. Tom keeps everything in working order, the grounds are clean - no trash lying around. We did not use any facilities but I peeked in and all looked clean and well kept. We did not use the wifi as we were there for a quick overnight and had plenty of AT&T signal. No sand burrs on the dog’s feet was a big plus after last 2 places in W Texas. The store staff are friendly and they have a great selection of jerky, honey, nuts and various snacks plus awesome pecan pie! Definitely worth a visit.

Clean, friendly staff, level sites. We stayed for one night on our way to the Chiricahuas. Stopped a few days later to take advantage of the clean, hot showers. Adjacent food truck snd local pecans is a fun perk. Staff says they can accommodate any length rig.

We stopped here fir an overnight on 4/12/21 and were pleased. It is a gravel campground with full hookups between I-10 and the train tracks. The campground was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There are bathrooms which we did not use and a very nice laundry room we did use. Three loads. The store sells a wide variety of jerky, nuts etc and there is a food trailer on the side with excellent food. We bought some jerky and sandwich’s which were very good. The trains rumble by and did not present an issue for us nor the highway. The trains do not blow whistles when passing by. We would stay again for an overnight spot. The price of $20 is a bargain.

Stayed overnight on 11/16/2020. It's a clean, well run park with good facilities, with very nice staff. I'd agree with the good ratings of the earlier reviews, but they don't mention this: You're very close to a double set of RR tracks with trains every 20 minutes or less. The smell of diesel smoke was VERY strong that night, and that's not healthy. So, if you're sensitive to that, take it into consideration. Also, there's a PA Discount available, but you must ASK for it. I like it better when they offer discounts by asking if you're a member of XXX club. The tracks are just on the north / west of the park, so wind direction matters. Also, there is a food wagon selling carne asada tacos. Very tasty but very small. At $3.00 each, I was unhappy with the 4" tacos. More like an appetizer to my mind.
