For Silver Creek RV Park: We stayed during Dec 2014, Jan-Feb 2015. The temps and view from the bluff are great. The winds through the Colorado River corridor can be brutal, though. If you have slide covers, be prepared to strap them down. (Lowes is right down the road and Ace and Home Depot are a little farther.) Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and Lake Havasu are easy drives. The Balloon Fest at Havasu is a treat. The gem show at Quartzite is a good day trip. The petroglyphs north of Laughlin are interesting, as is Oatman, wild burro capitol and ghost town that refuses to die. All in all, a great place to spend the winter.
