For Rancho Verde RV Park: We arrived late after the office had closed, I went up to the office door and found no instructions that told how to check in after hours. So like we have done at least 75 times all over the country we found a spot, and parked our RV, planning to go to the office in the morning to pay for our spot and book another night. We then went to dinner with our relatives who lived near by, when we returned we found a note taped to the RV door stating the we needed to go to the office in the morning to pay for our spot, I thought no problem that was our intention. But as I continued to read the last line of the note stated that the Marshals had been called and were aware of our presents in the park. In the morning we were woke up at 7am by someone knocking on our door very loud, when I opened the door I recognized the owner of the park and he told me they didn’t allow people to come in after hours and that we needed to go to the office to pay our bill. I told him we had stayed there in the past and were not aware of this rule and asked him what time the office opened. He said the office opened at 9 and I was there about 9:05, when I went in I thought I just needed to not say anything, pay for my spot and get the heck out of there, but the owner decided to escalate the situation by saying if we had stayed there before we should have known the rules and they should have had us towed, and kept calling me a Democrat and saying that being from California I must be a Democrat and prefer open borders, etc. I told them if they didn’t want people coming in after hours it should be posted and maybe have a gate with a key pad, like the park down the road. His wife was also in the office yelling at me also and at one point told me I was scaring her and making her very nervous. It was her husband who decided to escalate the situation but it was me that was scaring her. So if you don’t like staying with Adolf and Eva there is another park right down the street (Verde River RV Resort and Cottages) it is less expensive, has more things to do, and the people are very friendly. By the way we are very conservative, not that it should make a difference as we are all Americans.

For Rancho Verde RV Park: Cute place and VERY chill. Rarely did we hear our neighbors. Mostly an adult crowd but we had our kids with us. Nice little dog park, nothing fancy but it did the job. We had a spot next to some running water which was nice. Owner seemed very nice and I had a nice chat with the landscaper one day. I recommend it!

For Rancho Verde RV Park: Park was nice, showers and bathrooms were very clean and our site was nice. The people were very nice. Our only complaints were the dog park and the WiFi. They advertise WiFi yet neglect to mention the only place you can get on it is in the laundry room which is extremely inconvenient. The dog park was terrible. I only took our dog their once and in less than 5 minutes she was not only dirty but she was full of burrs which was time consumely to get them out of her.

Geroge

For Rancho Verde RV Park: Stayed in space E-7. This space is in a small wedge of a pie shaped site not suitable for rigs longer than 25 feet. Tow vehicle must park crossways in front of TV. Not enough space to park a average size pickup. Doubt that spaces meet building department codes. Owners threatened to call sheriff if we didn't move our TV. We already move our vehicle twice earlier. Owners rude and threading to paying customers. Do not stay here unless desperate

For Rancho Verde RV Park: Nice small park (40 spaces) with gravel pads and concrete patios, wi-fi works great, grass and shade trees at every site, (all FHU) spotless baths and laundry, very friendly staff. Great location between Phoenix and Flagstaff with plenty to see in the area (Jerome, Sedona, lots of hiking trails and BLM land for 4 wheeling. Right off I-17 and SR 260
