For Fort Tuthill County Park: For Fort Tuthill, if you are tent or smaller RV this is okay. For a big rig, this is a dirt patch amongst trees. Sites are not level and the road into and in the park are worst than the old Oregon train coming West. If a tree doesn’t get you the craters, they call pot holes, will. We are not impressed with our four nite stay. The Counties web site is misleading . This is like primitive NF camping in the remote off road. It is close to Flagstaff, the only plus.

For Fort Tuthill County Park: We loved this campground! There is a great bike park next door which was really fun for the kids! The adventure course is right next door, a nice mountain bike loop and even disc golf and archery (disc golf and archery might be part of the military campground). Really great campground !

For Fort Tuthill County Park: Nice campground in the woods. Very shady. Level and fairly spacious sites. Fun to see the zipline nearby. Close to town and a drive through the Oak Creek canyon to Sedona is a must because it’s gorgeous beyond words(!) but beware of hairpin curves if you’re in a big rig.
However, Verizon coverage in the campground is almost nonexistent.
