For Kaibab Camper Village: Interesting to read past reviews… We took the time to read them and check it out for ourselves since it is the only full hook up campground this close to the North Rim. First of all, this is a full hook up campground far from the big city in a forest full of trees on top of a plateau. It does not have level concrete pads for parking (which we love) and they haven’t cut down all the trees! —you park between the trees— in blissful nature. Our site only took two 1†blocks to level the low side of our 36’ fifth wheel. This is not an RV resort, it is a CAMPGROUND in the forest!!! After talking with the staff we found out that the Wi-Fi is hooked up only to support the credit card machine in the office. It does not have sufficient band-width to support everyone surfing the internet—understandable. I will say we had good cell signal (3- bars) the whole time we were here. The campground is 30 miles away from the closest high speed internet connection (again, in the forest away from the big city). WE checked out the porta-potties and found them to be very clean and well maintained. Again, we asked what they did to maintain them. Turns out, they are all connected to the septic system and they are drained, cleaned and refilled every day. They also have showers and a laundry on site! Some of the sites are closer than others, but we made it a point to ask for plenty of space for our particular rig and they made it happen! Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt (there’s always 1% of everyone who will never be happy). Loved the local hikes suggested by the hosts and the cookies at the Inn! We will definitely be back!

For Kaibab Camper Village: I have been a full timer for 6 years and & this was the worst experience I’ve had at an RV Park. 1st the woman who took the reservation made it 4 September, it’s 4 August,2021. The mile road coming in is a rough washboard. $40/night for water & Electric & an uneven gravel space. I had to put blocks under the rear hydraulics to raise it up enough, 3rd, “The WiFi is just for us, watch the squirrels & smell the pines†~ same incompetent sarcastic woman, Judy. I’d rather dry camp @ a Walmart. Oh the park is in a nice forest setting. Met with the owner, basically didn’t care. “It is what it isâ€. All of the one star ratings are no exaggeration . . .FIDO ~ Forget it. . .Drive On!

For Kaibab Camper Village: It’s fine. Good showers ($2.25/5 min). But you’re really close to your neighbor. GREAT boondocking down past the old ranger station (same road, turn left just before this site and go up the hill). Go slow, and it’s totally manageable in any car.

For Kaibab Camper Village: Can’t say enough about how beautiful the Ponderosa Pines were at this campground! Great atmosphere. Bathroom situation was acceptable and we were told ahead they were porta potties. Good proximity to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Very pretty drive. The camp manager Tom and his wife were super kind.

For Kaibab Camper Village: In a word? DIRT!! They have all these signs directing you way down this washboard dirt road only to be in a side by side horrible dusty/dirty RV park with No privacy. I can here the people next door breathing. Horrible.

For Kaibab Camper Village: I just spent the holiday weekend at the camp ground and had the best time! It is family friendly and big rig friendly, they leapt thru mountains to put my family together. The staff is awesome, the scenery is awesome, what a great place! We will be back!
