BC from Boise

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: The location was nice and the sunrise was beautiful but that's where the good ends... Our stay here was not on par with the other reviews. That may be due to the spot assigned for our 30' class C with towed vehicle. They were out of full hook up sites but that's normally not a big deal to us so we took ones of their dry camp spots. Lots of class A and C, as well as trailers, took the dry camp option and most faced the same challenges we did. Those included very uneven ground, too small to get your rig off the road completely, little shade or wind protection and worst if you have pets was the million goat-head and other stickers everywhere. The bathroom was clean and they had a trash dumpster but paying $30 for this place (plus a park entry fee if you don't have a pass) was a rip off. We won't be staying here again.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: A GREAT campground on our southwest sweep during the fall of 2017! The ONLY regret was not knowing ahead of time of the $25 entrance fee for each vehicle, being that the campground was within a National Recreation Area. We had reservations in advance but did not realize the additional fees until we pulled up to the the booth. We had literally just "unhooked" our toad from our motorhome minutes before. So - we had to pay an extra $25 to bring it in! IF I had left it hooked up, it would have been included with the MH coming in! (on our NP Pass!)

So - if you are towing a vehicle with your RV - DO NOT unhook it until after you enter the Recreation Area gate, prior to arriving the campground!

Once there though - beautiful sites, large, level, concrete, tables, fire pits, bathrooms, etc - all close to beautiful Lake Powell!

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Great location! Beautiful campground clean and very nice landscaping. Great walking paths all around this end of the lake. We have a 44' 5th wheel toyhauler and had plenty of room even to have our deck open in Loop B in the pull through. Both Verizon and AT&T cell service work great even though some info is questionable on it. Not sure if they changed that or what. The Wifi is an unsecured network here though.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Had a beautiful Lakeview site for 2 days. All Site are asphalt with tons of space. Picnic table area is plenty big for lots of chairs or canopy. Good water sewer and power! We camped in a 37' class a Motorhome and have a tow car, had plenty of room. Satellite worked great. We paid $48.12 inclu tax per night. Slightly high for the campground but it is Lake Powell.
There is a small camp store that has limited groceries. Wifi works great at the store/ checking area but not too good at sites. Verizon has ok reception but not great.
We will certainly return.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: We were invited by friends to join them at this campground. We're self contained and don't often stay at full service campgrounds. We stayed for 4 days, including a weekend, in late May in our 25 foot MH.

This campground is well maintained and quite clean. We stayed in Loop D. The RV campsites are large concrete pads with full hookups. Most of the pads are level. They are long and relatively close together. The length made the sites feel larger and not overly crowded. Most sites had nice views with at least a glimpse of the lake. Some shade was available at most sites. The hookups work well. The laundry room was clean and in good working order. There was usable wifi most of the time. There was good ATT and Verizon coverage.

There is much to do in the area. Our favorites were a boat cruise and tour of Lower Antelope Canyon. Page has stores and restaurants and other services.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Over all an excellent campground with view of lake Powell ... But, was told RVers could not use Pool at Lodge as we were checking in ... The free Wifi very slow, but you could buy faster service. Utilities great and very level cement pads. Well, maintained, managed and built for big rigs. Would have given it a 5 if we could have used the pool area.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Incredible. Clean. Professionally managed. Great level sites with views of the lake. The best place we've stayed overall. Can't wait to come back!
