For Pioneer RV Park: I have to agree with the last reviewer, this is the most unorganized and incompetent RV park we have ever encountered. You apparently can't just call up, make a reservation, give them your credit card and call it a day like everywhere else in the country. Not wanting to fill out an exhaustingly long online reservation form just to find out they didn't have space, I emailed a quick request for availability because they wouldn't answer their phone during working hours. That email was never answered, so I called several more times before finally getting someone on the phone. I asked if they had space for a week, and she said yes, and to please fill out the online form. I did invest the time to fill out the form, including details such as the floorplan of my motorhome which you must know or the form will not post. I then waited. Then it was the weekend, so I figured maybe I have to wait until Monday. Monday comes and nothing from the park. I then called and got the same voice mail. I then called back immediately and got a real person. It took several minutes for them to find my reservation request, on the pile of reservation requests on the desk of one of the girls that handles that; her words. Then it was, "oh, now I see the problem, we are waiting for permanent people to select their preferred spots before we can book new reservations." Needless to say, I wasted several days trying to book this site that is near our friends in Phoenix. My advice: save yourself from this idiotic park run by a bunch of incompetents.

For Pioneer RV Park: We have been full-time RV'ers for 5 years and have stayed several winter seasons at Pioneer. The location is great for North Phoenix, and has direct access to the desert. Our first opinion of the park was that it was quite and clean but for some reason the office staff was quite rude. We are a young 55 and thought maybe they just didn't like us? We soon learned that the office staff is rude to the general population and the General Manager, Chip Jordan, is unbelievably horrible-and always 'out of the office'.
The only reason we returned after our first experience was the location is close to the grandkids, otherwise we would not have returned. The office rudeness has continued to escalate and now we feel discrimination is rampant within the park office and community. If you value civil and human rights, or maybe just prefer a welcoming smile when doing business, pick another location, you will be glad you did.

For Pioneer RV Park: Fantastic over 55 park, nice and quiet in the evenings. Neighbors are fantastic, lots to do both in the park and close by. Plenty of room for our 40ft 5er, full size dually right on site.

For Pioneer RV Park: Well A very nice well maintained park. With lots of great things to do. The spaces are pretty close together and it is crowded in the winter so best to call ahead . The staff have a lot of rules that are not written down .

DaVida
For Pioneer RV Park: Everything is fresh, immaculate, well maintained, as a resort is expected to be. Park models, seasonal sites are cute, travel thru sites are sorta close, angled for easy access. All FHU. A nearby shooting range sounded like popcorn, the Pioneer Village reenactment shot a canon, I17 traffic was noisy, but we closed our windows. Staff is helpful, friendly. Residents are welcoming. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, billiards, pickle ball courts, huge laundry with outdoor-in-the-sunshine clotheslines (a rarity in the RV world), large hall, library, weight room - first class!

For Pioneer RV Park: The staff was fantastic and super friendly. This was my first time at this location. They were very patient and explained where I had to go and how to get there. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to dump here because I am way under 55+, but that was not the case. I paid my $10, dumped, rinsed, and filled with fresh water...hassle free!! Thank you for the great service!!! The dump site is open 24/7 and after hours you place payment in the box near the entrance.
