For Picacho Peak RV Resort: We stayed here for 2 nights in early April 2016, in a 30 ft gas Class A coach. We give this clean, well-kept RV resort only 3 stars because it's right off interstate 10 and close to a very busy railroad line. That means the constant drone of traffic noise 24/7. However, the resort's location by Picacho Peak State Park is 5 stars. Plus, it's between Casa Grande and Tucson, so it's not in the "big city". It's good for a stop over. Dark, starry skies at night are another plus. The full-time residents here seem quiet and respectful. The organized social activities ended March 31st, so we have no reviews for them. 55+ park is dog friendly with restrictions for some breeds so call ahead, first. When you exit Picacho Peak Rd. off I-10, stay on Frontage Road and don't turn to go to the State Park. On the eastern side of I-10, there are gas stations and -as of this date- a Subway and a Dairy Queen.

For Picacho Peak RV Resort: Great place for a stopover. It's right off I-10 but or GPS got a little confused but you can see the sign and navigate to it just fine. The staff is very friendly and the sites are clean. The showers, laundry, etc. are only open during the day and when we are on the road we are rarely able to make it in time. BUT they have an awesome dog park with a sturdy fence (our big dog is a jumper so it's important) with a little agility course. Not sure about other amenities but the restaurant was packed when we pulled in about 7:30. They even came by and took our trash for us as we were packing up. They are closed a couple of months during the summer I believe.

For Picacho Peak RV Resort: Great property at a great price. Gravel pull thrus with patios and picnic tables. Great pool, hot tub, billiards and activities. Clean. Not one of those mega resorts like phoenix, but does have activities, church service, etc. Will stay again.
