For Boneyard Vista RV Park : Sites are minimally maintained. They don’t need much but dogshit and garbage on some sites creates an eyesore n smelly experience. Certainly not within standards for length of stay. Tucson has kept us very busy so famcamp was great for our 3 month experience. Bathrooms well maintained, gym was open. Outdoor rec had several trips planned.

Debra

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : My husband is a honorably discharged veteran with a service connected disability We had planned to stay at the FamCamp for one Sunday night on our way further west. We were not permitted to access the base whee the campground is located because they would not accept his VA card or his state isssued driver’s license, that both indicated that he was a disabled vet with a service connected disability. They told us we had to come back on Monday so they could issue us another type of ID card that would allow us to get on base. Since we only wanted accommodations for 1 night (Sunday) we had to move on. We have stayed in many FamCamps and have always be granted a base pass with my husbands VA ID and drivers license.

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : $24 for FHU. Big RV park 270 plus sites. Snowbirds fill it up. No reservations for some reason. FF served. Narrow sites. Lots of long termers. Lots of aircraft noise well it is an active base. You can see aircraft boneyard from RV park. Big exchange and commissary.

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : Staff is great, leadership only interested in how much cash comes in. Not enough attention to improving infrastructure. Stayed here 15 months with several out and backs. WiFi is out and base still trying to find a vendor. New washing/drying machines in laundry, $1 each. Snowbirds fill the park December thru April. No reservations, first come, first serve. Use the main gate/craycroft.

Bianca

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : Lots of empty spaces when I arrived on a Wednesday night (Mar 2021) with Skoolie (4 window school bus).Filled out one of the late check in paperwork then paid the next day. Lady staff at check in is nice and professional. Even gave me a map of the base. Stayed for 4 nights. Easy bike ride to the PX and Commissary (about 1.1 miles). 30/50 amp. Fresh water and sewer. $24/ night. Use Craycroft gate. Will use this site again when I’m in the Tucson area.

Bud

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : Nice military FamCamp, sites are nice, utilities are great, no WiFi the time we were there. A whole list of rules none are enforced to include COVID restrictions. Wearing a mask appears to be only a suggestion, since some of the staff doesn’t even wear masks. Base support is great, Commissary, BX, and Shopette. LPG available on base as well as an on base wash rack for RVs. Will consider staying here again once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Rod

For Boneyard Vista RV Park : At first, very limited on shady sites. Once settled in, we met a lot of great people. Stayed 01 Oct to 01 Dec and the weather was very nice. Had the occasional micro burst of strong winds; be aware and save you awning before they get ripped out. The staff is great!! They accepted packages, called us when they arrived. Be aware, coyotes do run thru the base. Don’t leave your dog out or on a leash unattended. Don’t walk them after dark cause of this too. There are also scorpions and tarantulas but these are expected in this region. We keep our LED under carriage lights on at night to avoid them getting into the rig. We will definitely come back. Great Verizon signal! Campground WiFi was not so great.
