For Squaw Lake Campground: We don’t generally like desert lakes, but his one is great. Break out your kayak and enjoy a float, shower for a gold one-dollar token, get some decent cell signal and celebrate that water & dump are available. You probably won’t get into one of the official sites, but the paved lots have lake view or lakeside spots.

For Squaw Lake Campground: Location was perfect - lakeside. Only about 7 or 8 campsites that are located on loop. We lucked out & got one - good separation & views. Two parking lots with spaces - tight unless they are not crowded. With senior Nat'l Park passes sites are 7.50 a night, otherwise $15. Mostly good for boaters - not much hiking but quiet. Black skies so great for star gazing.
