For Lodwick Lake South: This was a beautiful lake and we were happy to have found this lake on Thursday the 15th after driving from Vancouver but soon after 4 youngish people joined us in the campsite beside ours and set up camp. Later that night they turned on the music which was very loud and I was tempted to tell them to turn it down, but didn't as this situation is usually confortational. The next day more younger people arrived and proceeded to set up a tent in another campsite. There were lots of them and the music was very loud. As well a dirt bike was used to someones pleasure (not ours) This was an unmonitered campsite and free but I thought it was for everyones enjoyment not just young people. My friend and I are seniors and were not intiminated in anyway by these younger people, our enjoyment of this beautiful park was destroyed by the thoughtless people who came after us.
If we weren't tenting we would have left on Friday but it is a 2 hour procedure to take down and reconstruct the tent. I appreciate that the younger people want to have fun but it should not be at the expense of other people sharing the campground with them.
