For Stone Mountain Provincial Park: We were looking for a place to stay in the general area on the Alaska Highway. We’re self-contained and don’t use the facilities. We stayed on a Sunday night in late May in our 8 meter (25 foot) MH.
This is a nice, small, well maintained CG with beautiful views on the edge of Summit Lake. The sites are arrayed around a loop and a spur. The sites are relatively large, mostly level, gravel and most have views of the lake. A few are on the shore of the lake. The sites are open with few trees for shade and no privacy. There are no hookups. There are toilets and trash service. There’s a pump with water, not guaranteed potable. There’s no dump station, nor hose to fill tanks with potable water. There’s no cell service. The CG was about half occupied during our stay.
There are several hiking trails departing from the CG.
